Excellent bread

Bought a wholemeal sourdough at Alton F/M and it was very heavy and dense. Worst bread we have ever bought / eaten. couldnt eat as bread so tried toasting it. gives off a horrible bleach smell when toasted and tastes very bitter with a horrible after taste. its so solid you cant chew it without giving jaw ache. only good for feeding to the ducks !! wont buy anything else from them again

Very disappointed. Bought at Winchester farmers market, under proved, texture like a crumpet with poor flavour.
