Popped in at lunch as my gddaughter fancied ice cream sundae nice but ordered chips with cheese the portion was ridiculously small not even size of childs chips omg

Absolutely appalling service. They said they were short staffed but that was no excuse for the standard of poor attitude from them. Table booked for 7:30. Hassled to actually get seated at 7:50. 20 minutes later for the to take order and then further 20 for drinks. Then another problem when trying to pay. Very poor

Table for 15 @6.45pm birthday celebration, which had 4 children 1 baby amongst us , on arrival was told our table was late , which was fine however from start to finish was appalling , server was nice however food arrived warm not hot and was sat on the pass for some time , children awaiting food after the adults not to mention the fact childrens dessert order was not taken till 9.30 pm when asked why we was still awaiting for 4 ice creams at 9.45pm was unacceptable for the service being extremely poor and not to mention my daughter whos birthday it was got scoulded by boiling hot water , no apology from management till i went and complained the manager just stood stairing at myself looking at me , when i asked to elaborate why so many issues when they new our table of 15 was due in and why no apology for my daughter , his attitude was i didnt no of it until just now .... the server then advised she was uncomfortable doing her birthday cake , finally after the manager then agreed to fill in a accident form then my daughter recieved her apology, we will not be retuning, seems every beefeater eater with the area has gone downhill as had a similar experience at the haywain recently too of food arriving cold ... such a shame beefeater standards have dropped .... dissatisfied with service, food and attitude of staff.
