Came this evening and had a lovely meal as usual. All tasty and great portion sizes. Value for money is so good. Kids menus are really good and the adult menu has lots of choice. Special thanks to all the staff and especially Cheryl who made sure we had everything we needed although it was busy. She was happy and friendly, all whilst remaining professional. All of the staff are great, we love coming as we are always made to feel so comfortable and always leave with smiling faces and full bellys! Thankyou. X

Good carvery - that was the best feature. The cauliflower & cheese was substandard, however, and regrettably, the stuffing looked like a pile of stodge. A wider selection of veg would be desirable. Unfortunately that Sunday staff shortages were evident. The lady welcoming us tried very hard to keep things together and in order, but at least one of the other staff looked as though he just didn't want to be there. Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but that's how it came across. We were pleased to see that there was a kid friendly corner, and that's a great plus! However, you need to enforce strict control over kids bringing footballs and kicking about in the dining area - that is not acceptable and several times we watched anxiously as balls were flying around. There were no staff visible to keep things in order. By the time we got to desserts, we looked forward to the promising treats - however we felt let down: the desserts ordered must have been quickly processed and prepared, but it took them almost 25 mins to arrive. When they did arrive, all those containing ice cream were in a rather sorry soggy mess overflowing from cups and glasses, a real pity. The guy serving us was pretty unapologetic. So - to sum up, OK on some of the things we tasted, but we won't be back in a hurry - that place has so much potential...

Paid for carvery for 2 and 2 drinks walked up and see a little scrap of beef women said we didn't want to get a new one out as we stop at 8pm. She said so did you want this one or will I have to get another. obviously I said a new one then we looked at the rest. It all looked dry, mash and cauliflower looked like it had a skin over it. Went to the bar and asked for a refund, he eventually did it after arguing that it had all just came out fresh. But wouldn't refund the drinks so we just lost money as I'm starving so I'm not going to sit drinking a beer when I need to fing somewhere to eat still. Won't be going back
