Dr Aslam is a fantastic doctor that really listens to you and goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Reception staff are lovely and polite too.

The staff always do their best and the doctors (when they're there!) always listen before checking you over. Dr Aslam is brilliant, but like every part of the NHS, is over worked and under appreciated. This surgery is crying out for investment and more regular doctors to be present. The need for this surgery is there in this area, but lack of investment and more bad reviews will probably be the death of it. The staff do the best they can with the tools they have been given.

@Tracer Does Voices-You don't need to change doctor's since YOU KNOW IT ALL. You DON'T need blood tests for a throat infection,; you may have repeated throat infections during a year that recur once tsuccesfully treated; being healthy is getting better once you've been ill. HAVING BLOOD TESTS IS NOT A CURE FOR YOUR ANXIETY, NEITHER BLAMING OTHERS FOR IT

I have been with this surgery for my whole life since I was a child. My parents struggled to get appointments for me when I was younger and I struggle to get appointments for myself. My doctor is Doctor Aslan and he is genuinely wonderful, but I have seen him specifically only twice in the last 10 years. That is no good to me. The practice is highly understaffed, the diognosis' of most illnesses I've had have been wrong (one woman told me I have pharyngitis and gave me antibiotics when I had the FLU according to NHS 111 AND the pharmacist) and in the last 6 months I have had several infections of the throat and chest and the doctors hadn't thought to refer me to get a blood test to check for anything further, they just kept giving me antibiotics. I now struggle desperately with anxiety and depression and the few times I do have a good enough day to be able to call and make an appointment, they are either closed, hang up on me or tell me to call 8am on the day. I'm sorry but emotionally and mentally as well as physically, I cannot promise I will be able to "call at 8am on the day" to make a God damned appointment. Therefore, I'm currently looking to change my GP centre, specifically to Matching Greene if I can help it as the Rectary Road centre is just as bad and I am unable to travel that distance. My advice? Do NOT use any Murray Medical Centres full stop. The staff are all too old for their testing and diagnoses to be up to date, you will NEVER get an appointment and the receptionist staff dont want to book you appointments ahead of time and will ORDER you to call back on the day because they are Lazy. If the doctor is unable to make it due to illness and they call the wrong number or you do not pick up, they will not leave a voice mail, and if you turn up to your appointment unaware that the whole surgery is closed because they only have ONE doctor and you call up to complain dispite your anxiety, they will STILL tell you to call back the next morning at 8am. I was in hospital at 8am the next day because my disposition is so fragile currently that I tried to end myself again. Save yourself the hassle, the stress and the anxiety and stay the hell away from this surgery. I know I REALLY dont want to go back. Ever.
