Very long waiting times for calls to be answered. There is only one good doctor there who listens to what you say. The others here what they want. Receptionists are rude and condescending and not very helpful. I wish dr singh was still there.

My moan is not about the doctors but about the service and system put in place: Trying to call Fryerns medical centre for last couple of days but long waits and call got cut off/reception hung up. Tried to call again today for doctors appointment on 11/11/2022 @ 8am and couldnt get through until 8:25. Then finally someone answered and the receptionist advised that since COVID the system is that you get a call from the doctor anytime (no specific time) for telephone appointment and if you miss that call then you dont get another call from them again. (If that happens then you would have to try calling in again at 8am next day) Then when you do get a call from the doctor, on that call; on that telephone appointment if doctor thinks he/she needs to see you (the patient) then you get a face to face appointment. I respect NHS and hats off to them for doing a great job for the nation. But the way the GP services are run it feels like patients are not a priority at all. We have to keep chasing up with appointment that were meant to be pre-scheduled for B12 injections and when we call to find out what happened to the appointment we get told they are out of stock for B12 injection. This affects our health further and feel like GP service is slacking in providing the service and support to their patients. Its difficult time and patients need to be supported in a more efficient manner and the GP service need to re-consider their approach towards patients. This GP service was one of the most efficient service back in 2016. Now its hard to get hold doctors and actually get a treatment. On that note I have to say I am very impressed with the Nurse who is very proactive at this surgery and the efforts she puts into doing the right thing and helping patients. Im not complaining but just sharing the bitter facts of the poor service recently provided which is affecting patients day by day. I just want to make sure that we get seen by the doctors and the service layer of the telephone appointment faade is got rid off so can actually see the doctors face to face and get treated properly and quickly.
