shortly after the girls went into the room (5 minutes late!) a member of staff informed me that the manager said that food wasn't allowed. i had seen a man walking around who had looked over in our direction previously, i asked the member of staff if that was the manager, to which she said yes. I asked if i could speak with him, so i could explain that it had been agreed prior to our arrival, i also couldn't understand why he didn't deal with it himself instead of leaving it up to a junior staff member.
when he finally came out he was clearly agitated, i too wasn't very happy, when i started to talk he spoke over me and asked me to let him speak, he explained that he wanted to speak to his staff first to get a better understanding of the situation, he still seemed to have no knowledge that it had been pre-agreed, he even said that a party hadn't been booked, when i went to speak he spoke over me again to which i replied excuse me, he replied YOUR NOT EXCUSED! (bit rude!). He then began to question his staff in front of me and blamed them, he told me that it wasn't my fault and that it was my service providers and pointed to the two young staff members...the truth is that when he went on his booking system he hadn't seen my booking and when he looked again he realized his mistake!!
as my first experience of legends i find the management (or as he informed me THE OWNER) unprofessional , also they didn't get the full hour in the room, more like 45 minuets and i don't think 2 microphones is enough for 10 people....sprinkles was good!
