Wouldn't recommed Riverstones, purchased a Ford Fiesta from here in June 2017. I don't live locally so was quite a journey to collect the car but after first viewing and test drive car seemed fine and was in much better condition than others that I viewed so decided to buy it. After having it a week or so I suspected the Aircon wasn't working correctly so got it checked by a garage local to me who found a couple of minor faults and as suspected the aircon was leaking. I contacted Kevin and explained the faults but he refused to refund the cost of repairs instead insisting that I take the car back to him to repair it. Although this was inconvenient it was better than nothing so returned it to him. When I went to collect it he had repaired the minor faults but said there was no leak on the Aircon so had just re-gased it. I explained that my garage had showed me pictures of fluid leaking from the Aircon system but he got annoyed at this and said that they don't know what they're talking about. Afte this I regularly checked the aircon and after about a month it had stopped working again, which confirmed that it had a leak. Depending on what component had failed it could cost over 400 to repair. I contacted Kevin who was initially completely un-helpful and basically said it wasn't his problem and that it probably developed a leak since I got it back from him. After checking with Consumerline I got back in touch with Kevin and explained that his repair was un-satifactory and that my garage had found evidence of a leak prior to the re-gas. It was now the end of October and Kevin said he'd speak to his local trading standards officer and get back to me in a couple of week's. Now almost 6 months later and after a number of excuses from Kevin still no answer or agreement to refund the aircon repair cost. Kevin has since taken down his website and has no cars adverstised so not sure if he's stopped trading or trading under a different name.

Kevin went above and beyond to assist me today. He made time for me to be able to collect on a Sunday. I purchased a second hand fiesta from Kevin @ Riverstones and having viewed four used cars earlier from other car dealers that did not match their advertisements I was unsure what to expect when I visited his premises on Saturday. I need not have worried. The car was immaculate. Cleaned inside and out. Kevin genuinely looks after his customers and makes sure all his cars for sale are in pristine condition. Thank you.
