        When I was in my teens, I held an ACU competition licence and raced motorcycles in Enduros, Speedway, Trials and Moto cross. Not very successfully but at least it was fun. So I was thrilled to find that whilst on holiday in the New Forest that I could visit Sammy Millers motor cycle museum which lies on the north edge of New Milton. Sammy was the greatest all round motorcyclist of the time and has amassed a huge collection of motorcycles dating from 1898 up to 2018 and everything in between. I was very impressed with all the staff there who were all very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The museum itself is c shaped and has a courtyard in the middle. Displays are roughly grouped by era and there is a huge display of all the trophies Sammy won. There are also several tv screens, some were playing Sammy commenting on various motorbikes whilst others were replaying races. We did not have time to try it out but there is a small restaurant on site. Very reasonably priced at 23 for the two of us. It was both a privilege and pleasure to visit.
