The food was excellent. had the best burger ever and my wife loved her chilli. Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to help.

My oh my! I dont venture into the pub very often after a bad experience in there a few years ago and it was dark and dingy, the service was shocking and the whole place was falling apart. I knew the place was under new management but couldnt bring myself to face it again. My husband finally persuaded me to try again and Im so glad we did. This place is a hidden gem in this small, farming community. The new owner has given the shabby shack a huge refurb and it is now bright and welcoming. We had tried the food this particular day and chose a venison dish. Wow! The food is out of this world. Im a hard person to please and Im usually one to say what they got wrong but I could think of nothing. So tasty, well presented and filling. Everything tasted homemade and you could definitely tell that it was, even dessert was on point. You must see the transformation this small pub has been through and make sure to try the food here and I promise you will not be disappointed.
