The original installers disappeared within weeks of installation. Leaving behind an ASH system that kept failing because the pipework was all wrong and the cylinder was incorrect. I contacted Solaris who identified what the problems were and managed to keep the system working whilst I spent 18 months wrestling with the insurers to get them to pay the costs I had incurred keeping the system going and the cost of putting the original installation work right. IWA (the insurers) refused my claim twice with extremely flimsy excuses. It looked as though I was going to have to bear the costs myself. I had many conversations with Solaris during this time they were always extremely helpful and professional. When Id almost given up hope of resolving the nightmare, Dan Large of Solaris emailed IWA and took them to task about the shabby way they had treated me. Within a few days the insurers agreed to reimburse me and pay the costs for putting the ASH system right. The Solaris engineers spent four days doing this. They were highly professional at all times , I cant praise them enough after what Id been through. The office staff are always polite and pleasant and phone back when they say they will. I was very impressed with Dan Large the owner of the business. He is very knowledgeable and proficient and the installation went smoothly. Also his service engineers appear very competent. I can only assume that he is too busy to respond to straightforward emailed requests to discuss turning down the setting on the air source system. At present the house cannot drop below 22 degrees which is unacceptable in this age of soaring energy prices. Therefore high marks for technical competence but a real shame that the company cannot match this with after sales service. Service: Heating system installation

Solaris provided diagnostic services for a Ground Source Heat Pump system in my home which had not worked reliably since installation. Their engineer was professional and methodical in approach and had expert knowledge of heat pumps. The faults were identified and fixed. I can't recommend Solaris highly enough if you have a GSHP system. Services: Heating system repair, Consultation
