You can request that your medical assessment is audio recorded at this Medical Assessment Centre, they will always do there best to make sure it's there, but make sure to ask if it is still going to be recorded when you arrive. Occasionally there may be technical problems or the equipment is unavailable, if this happens on the day, you have the choice to either go ahead with the assessment but without your it being recorded OR you can request a new appointment date be sent to you when the recording equipment IS available. It's always a good idea to have your own copy on CD/DVD, you never know when you may need it ! REMEMBER you MUST request that your Medical Assessment is Audio recorded at least a week before your appointment date. This can be done in Writing or over the Phone, just write to the address or Call the Appointments number provided on the letter from the HEALTH ASSESSMENT ADVISORY SERVICE which tells you the Date, Time and Place of 'Your appointment for an assessment with a healthcare professional'. There is a bus stop directly outside the building, next to it, a pathway has been provided for disabled access which leads directly to the entrance door. It's a secure building, to gain entry you press a buzzer, then wait for a response. Eventually a voice is heard, it will ask you to provide your details by speaking into a box on the wall . There's lots of security cameras provided by the bus stop, pathway, disabled access, around the car park leading to the entrance door and inside the building, so you'll feel completely safe and secure.
