The Sloop Inn

First visit. Doesn't look great from the outside, but the interior decor, the tasty food & the friendly staff should keep you coming back. An overcast Thursday lunchtime was very busy so goodness knows how busy it is on a 'busy' day in Summer. I'll be back!

Very nice back street pub, visited twice while staying a few mile away, locals and the very nice staff made us very welcome, the beer was lovely but the food was extremely good (steak pie, fish n chips to name a couple ) and not overpriced. Lady behind the bar even laughed when we walked out without paying asking us to come back when we were halfway out the door,genuine mistake i thought my Mrs had paid and she thought i had (twonks), We will definitely be back when next in the area.
