Few reasons but the most recent is: I was 10 minutes late for an appointment, trying to find somewhere to park, they marked me down as 'no show' and would not see me. Also, they don't have a cash machine so you better carry cash to pay for your prescriptions.

Transferred to this surgery 2 years ago. Have never had a problem getting through for an appointment. Lovely staff, professional and friendly.

Dr Tahira Cheema a Locum really let down the surgery today. I would give 4 stars based on the extremely helpful receptionists. Dr Cheema was rude, dismissive and treated me like I was an infant. Telling me that my ovaries sit beside my kidneys which last time I did biology- admittedly eight years ago, was incorrect (it is your ureter's that sit nearer your ovaries). I shall be writing a formal complaint regarding the appointment- I have never had a Dr speak to me so degradingly before, she literally asked if I thought I knew better than her while talking over me when I was trying to explain where my pain was (bearing in mind this is over the telephone). After explaining that the painkillers Dr Khan (who is lovely by the way) prescribed were ineffective and unfortunately not making a difference, Dr Cheema said 'well what would you like me to do about it' and that I should take the same painkillers I have been taking as per previous instruction despite them not working. I had to request a blood test instead of her suggesting it. I have seen both Dr Khan and the male Dr before and while I am sure they both have bad days and busy days, they have never been combative or raised their voices at me like Cheema did today. I hope I never have to encounter this Dr again- I have had to call 111 as a result of this appointment which is something I really don't like doing when I know there are other people who need them as well. I would recommended the surgery and other Dr's but stay as far away from this Dr unless you want to be treated like you don't understand your own pain and would like false statements put on your medical record (which after checking, I can see that she has).
