Absolutely fantastic day down at the eco-farm. We went with 11 pre-school children, who loved every second of it. Andy, was so helpful and brilliant showing and teaching the children about all the animals. Would definitely recommend to people of all ages, and 100% will go back.

Kids love going to the farm. Did some voluntary work building a rockery and really enjoyed the day. Visited again at Haloween time and bought some lovely pumpkins and sampled some of the great selection of sweets. We will pop in again and can't wait to see the Farms progression. The hard work that all the team do cannot be underestimated. Keep up the good work.

I am a support worker for adults with physical disabilities, Autism and learning disabilities. I also have vast experience with mental health issues and other service users with in the social care sector. I currently support 3 adults who have been attending the farm now for over a year. They are extremely happy and willing to try their hands at many tasks although their physical abilities are limited. Andy and Cooper have always made my gang feel welcome, valued and included. They've found them jobs to do which have made them feel a part of the team. Andy has asked for their opinions and advice on many occasions. Although the answers are not always applicable to the situation, Andy has listened and has always managed to take something positive from it. We are currently working on turning the summerhouse into a Santa's grotto which will help to fund food for the animals. My guys have enjoyed doing this whilst thinking about, and discussing materials to use other than plastics and materials that can't be recycled. They have learned a lot about recycling, re using and making things from waste, scraps and easily recycled goods. They have a greater awareness of the impact litter has on the environment and have also undertaken litterpicking sessions as a result. They've come up with ideas to raise money for the project and have helped to fundraise. They've helped to plant things, water plants, feed animals and restock shelves etc. They've carried out preparation work in the shop, making up and stamping boxes. They've also assisted in emptying the recycling bins and delivering crisp packets to Caz in Grimsby who makes them into thermal blankets and sleeping bag covers for the homeless. We have found the farm to be a neverending source of activity, fun and friendship, particularly during the pandemic as it has remained covid secure as we have been out in the fresh air mostly and in our own bubble. The kettle is always on, biscuit tin stocked, listening ears and words of encouragement and reassurance. I honestly believe that Andy, Cooper and the Community Farm have been our salvation this last 18 months or so. Without them, I think we would have all found the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns much harder. We have all come away with a great sense of achievement and will continue to use, and to support this great project.
