Grosvenor House

The staff cared for my mum during her last weeks and I cannot praise them enough. They were totally supportive in allowing us to visit when we could.

My mother stayed for care ,she was only there 5 weeks and that's exactly what she got ! Fantastic support from all staff for mom and family It was a privilege to meet people like that.

I feel very lucky to have my Dad cared for and looked after by Grosvenor House. Grosvenor House Nursing home is outstanding nursing home and all the management and staff do a wonderful job of looking after all the residents. This year has been extremely tough, as we can't currently visit Dad in his room due to Covid. What the nursing home has done is keep Dad safe and well, he's always well fed, watered and looks smart & clean. Thank you to everyone at the home, you are like an extended family.

The Staff at Grosvenor House are absolute heros and deserve the highest praise. Truly beautiful people,they really have restored my faith in humanity . My Father had to receive palliative care and had a number of issues including Cancer and suffering a stroke .He was looked after with dignity and respect . I witnessed this on many occasions when staff didn't even know I was there visiting him as I was out of sight while they were speaking to him .I also heard how they addressed other patients,always with kindness .The business of Dad dying was a terribly painful affair but choosing Grosvenor House was the best decision we made and the only good thing to come from such a painful experience. The building was clean and well presented, in a good area outside Birmingham and staff adhered very strictly to the Covid rules and took everything they did very seriously.They were professional on the medical side and and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. Highly recommend .

Mum has been a resident for over two years now, we never wanted either of our parents in a home BUT having no choice we could not have asked for a BETTER home than this for mum. The care is second to none and the staff go above and beyond. This year has been awful, the staff have pulled out all the stops, its not only the residents they understand but us as a family too especially not being able to go and see mum. It takes a special heart to truly understand and they do, from morning to night. It is a massive piece of mind for us as a family knowing mum is this well looked after, it is also piece of mind for dad knowing she is in exceptional hands, their COVID procedures are exceptionally high, whilst i may not like not being able to see mum i hugely respect their procedures to protect the residents and staff alike. Thank you one and all at Grosvenor for all you do, the word thank you doesnt feel enough BUT a massive huge thank you to you all from the bottom of our hearts, mum is our world we love her dearly, to the moon and beyond and back and around again, thank you thank you thank you xx
