Firstly I dont normally leave reviews but I had Taw Windows, to come and replace the windows and doors. The whole process from getting a quote and placing the order to having the windows and doors installed was quick and stress free, Terry was very helpful and professional, The windows and doors are to a very high quality standard. The installation team are amazing and lovely, you would not have known they had been here apart from having the new windows and doors installed. Thank you Terry, Luke, Rob, Chris. We have just had virtually all our windows and doors replaced by Taw Windows in our 270yr old stone cottage - we chose white uPVC with Georgian style glazing, and a dark green composite door. From start to finish Terry and his team were professional, friendly and a joy to work with. We were given a start date when we accepted the quotation, and this date was stuck to. I can be a rather annoying customer asking lots of questions, and they took it all in their stride and were happy to talk through any queries I had (thanks guys!). The works were completed efficiently and neatly, with the team cleaning up the work areas afterwards. A couple of minor snags were dealt with quickly and without fuss - my gauge of a company is not that things should always go perfectly (building projects rarely do!) but how any issues are dealt with when they crop up, and in this respect I cannot fault them. If you're looking to replace your windows and doors I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taw Windows, especially if you live in an older property and are concerned that things are "done right". We first used Terry and his team in 2015 when we bought our 1950s bungalow, all the windows and front door needed upgrading to modern ones. They did a fantastic job, were professional, great price and always on time. Last year at the same place, we had an extension built and used them again for the windows, french doors and utility room back door. Once again, they did a fantastic job. We have a cottage that is of stone construction and over 150 years old. The powder coated aluminium windows we requested were black frames with white sashes. This kept the proportions we wanted and the existing frames were removed and the four new areas were installed and rooms swept. They arrived at 9.30 and had done everything and left left before we came back at 3.30pm !!! Immaculate and very happy in all respects. Any snags that happened in the early design stages were professionally handled and sorted - a measure of the firm and its owner. Well done Terry you are a star. We will be using you again.
