        Sorry Pannier Market Barnstaple. The place needs a clean up, it's a dingy and depressing hall, no atmosphere, space under utalised. Does not compare well with other markets I have visited.

        The indoor Pannier market in Barnstaple is an interesting and colorful place to spend a spare 20 minutes or so with mixed bag of sellers and items. It seems to me though, a shame that quite a few of the old traders I was always used to seeing there, have slowly disappeared. A sign of the times. Or simply the high cost of hiring a stall from local council.
