The paw pad Parlour

I am currently studying my Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming at Paw Pad Parlour Dog Grooming & Academy. What can I say, from the email enquiry back in December 2021, when I was then offered a phone call at a time and day convenient to myself to discuss the course and have any questions answered. I did not know what to expect on that phone call at all, I was really nervous about it, but Alicia put me at ease straight away, she explained everything I needed to know about the course and when I asked about payment, she discussed payment plans with me. I was also offered and recommended to volunteer before the course started and I signed up, to make sure that it was right for me. I volunteered and signed up for the course as it was definitely for me and my passion I wanted to take further. From when I started back in June 2022 until now (November 2022) I cannot tell you how much my confidence has grown, not only the confidence in myself, but to be around others, make mistakes and learn and my confidence in handling dogs and the work I create, this is all thanks to Alicia and her way of teaching. I have learnt so much about not only dog grooming, but creative dog grooming and dog behaviour as well, Ive also grown as a person. I love the way Alicia mixes up the dog grooming training, it is a far better way of learning and offers variety also. Alicia's passion for dogs and grooming them really shows. I have never met anyone who is so willing and wanting to share all the knowledge they can with other people. Although I am older than Alicia I do not find this an issue at all and I love the sense of humour she has, I have no issue at all recommending Alicia's Academy to anyone, I am just a little sad that we are now half way through the course and the time will come to say goodbye, but I know and have seen that she does support all of her students when the course has ended for as long as they want it. Gaining the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming with Alicia is not just a course, it is gaining a mentor, friend and business associate for life. I have attached pictures from a dog I groomed 3 weeks into the course. If I could achieve a groom like that then, just think of what I can do now!

Im currently doing the level 3 course with Alicia and I highly recommend doing the course.Ive learnt so much from the course and had a lot of fun doing it. I cant thank Alicia enough for all her hard work.

Alisha is the owner of this business and puts her heart and soul into her job. She adores dogs and does the best grooming. My dog gets nervous when she goes in and Alisha soon calms her and she comes away very happy. Would definitely recommend taking you dog here.

Took our cat to Alicia to have her claws cut as they got really long. We contacted Alicia and she said to bring her right in and did them straight away. So quick and proffessianal, highly recommend her.

I am currently a student in Alicias dog grooming academy at the Paw Pad Parlour. I am having an amazing time on my course and Im learning so much for Alicia everyday, her knowledge of grooming, handling and dog behaviour is impeccable. I have gained so much confidence in just 5 months. I would highly recommend bringing your dogs to Paw Pad Parlour, you can see Alicia loved and cares for the dogs and will always put the dogs needs first. I am so lucky to have her teaching me and sharing her knowledge and skills, if you are looking to work with dogs I would also highly recommend her academy! Thank you
