First class groomers, helped us out when we where let down by our usual groomers really pleased with the service very professional,will use from now on.

Nattie had been going to Salty Dog for some time now and I honestly would not take her anywhere else. The team there are brilliant, professional, friendly and it goes without saying, but I will anyway, they love all the dogs. Fantastic Salty Dog Groomers.

I contacted Bethan who is one of the groomers at Salty and explained that I needed some help with my border collie whos hair had become really matted and deadlocked behind his ears and under his tail. My dog is not keen at all on being groomed in these areas and bares his teeth when I try (hence them getting out of hand). Beth was so incredibly supportive and gave me so much advice and reassurance. The advice I was given allowed me to prepare my dog for his first trip to the groomers. I worked on de-sensitising him in the areas he is usually nervous about and he gradually became more trusting. I went today, absolutely convinced that I would get a call soon after dropping him off to say they had tried but were unsuccessful. To the contrary, I got a text off Beth to reassure me he had hopped into the bath no problem. I then got a call around an hour and half later saying he was ready to collect. I was in total disbelief. Ned was smiling and wagging when I arrived and clearly very happy for his treatment. He looked and smelled amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. I even received lots of free grooming advice so that I can maintain their hard work until next time and links to professional brushes which will really help me keep things in hand. Thank you so much Bethan and Co. It is so obvious how much you care for the dogs and I feel super happy I made the decision to use you!

Take my 2 dogs one toy poodle and a collie cross and both come out looking lovely everytime

Took my very anxious collie cross for a groom. He hates brushes, towels and has mood swings more times than the local weather changes (they really had their work cut out). They have a form to fill out before booking (online) so you can highlight any issues before hand. We then arrived 10 minutes early so we could talk about our dog (Louie) and all his triggers and warnings. The team was superb. They fully engaged in the conversation and listen carefully. They gave us the vibe of professionalism throughout. We then had a 15 minute warning phone call once it was time to pick him up (plenty of time to get back). Louie was lovely and chilled and fully groomed. So happy owners and happy dog. I fully encourage you to try salty dogs groomers for your pets groom. They are too good not to try.
