Today, through Peaks and Trails, I achieved hiking the three South West Peaks - Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and Exmoor. Jon organised us all from the get go, setting out early but advised on equipment and sustenance for the day. First Bodmin moor - out and back walk. Then Dartmoor, finally Exmoor. Excellent training for those going onto greater adventures like the National Three Peaks but a fab day out and a great sense of achievement for me. A big thanks to Jon and the co-driver and the fab group of people I went with!

Whether you are an experienced or novice walker, Peaks and Trails offer a professional and friendly service to all. Jon is an inspirational, encouraging and informative guide. Ive been on several walks now, some local and open to mixed abilities and some more challenging, including the Malverns, Dartmoor and Wales, Jon has efficiently organised each of these adventures and each has been rewarding and fun. Combine exercise, fresh air and a good old belly laugh - its the ultimate hat-rick for the Great Outdoors. Enjoy.

Ive been on several organised walks through Peaks and Trails . I cannot recommend Jon highly enough for experience and knowledge when it comes to the organisation. The trips have been really enjoyable, friendly and have allowed me to explore new places I probably would not have ventured on my own . Its more enjoyable to walk as a group and being a female its reassuring to be able to walk safely along more isolated areas of coast or countryside ,knowing you have safety and confidence being in a friendly and organised group. Jon is informative and helpful and the accommodation has always been good, the evening meal always entertaining and usually a perfect end to a day of walking . I hope to go on many more trips with Jon. They are good value for money and offer opportunities to meet new people as well as a good boost to your health and well-being. Dont hesitate to book yourself on to a trip soon , hurry though as some book up fast .

I have been on numerous walks over the last few years with Peaks & Trails including the National Three Peaks Challenge (twice), Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, overnight stays in the Brecon Beacons, Malvern, Dorset, Cornwall and local day trips in the Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. The most recent was an overnight trip to the Cotswolds, our base being the lovely village of Bourton-on-the-Water where we took a leisurely 6 mile circular route in the local area followed by an optional shorter route. Finished off with relaxing, informal post-walk drinks and evening meal. The trips are always well organised and a great way to get out in the countryside with like-minded people of varying fitness levels and to make new acquaintances. Jon meticulously researches the local area, routes and accommodation prior to any event so you wont be disappointed. Peaks & Trails is a great way to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
