        Bought a Vauxhall Astra in September last year. 05 reg plate . The headlights foggy as hell. I said thats ok . The car looked good for the year. After 200 miles I check the oil again. Surprise oil turned into Nescaf frappe. Water pump gasket damaged. They didnt tell me boot wouldnt open and they had a cardboard piece to keep it open at inspection. The tyres awfull one was deflating every few days and one cracked at back. The previous Mot advisory still unsolved . Starter motor failed after 3 weeks. I paid 1500 and service cost me 400 . My advise : go to a decent car seller or an honest spare or repair seller . I want to think is just my bad luck and wish all other buyers the best. Just triple check the car you buy . And take it to a mechanic first. Dont buy based on presumed honesty!
