So initially myself and my wife received great help from our work coaches Dreena and Emma we started to claim due to the pandemic. I then became self employed my initial appointment with Donna I felt went ok but I was very misinformed and when I asked via my journal why my payment was as I felt incorrect I was informed it was due to the fact that I didnt have children (now I feel as though this could of been put a little better as some people cannot have children due to medical issues). My wife has also become self employed and she had a minimum floor put in but once again we were misinformed and we have been left with just over 100 for the month (this is what was left out of our wages from doing self employed work) to live on which the lady we spoke to on Saturday deemed to be ok as we chose to be self employed (Id love to see that lady live on just over 100 for the month). We added a journal entry every day for a week and we had nothing back no contact nothing so we have now closed our claim and amazingly they have done this in under 24 hours of the office reopening up today. Words fail me you muppets have failed me. Universal Credit is meant to be there to help people not penalise people for being self employed I hope you are ashamed of yourselves but you wont be you dont give a toss about people we are just figures to you lot. I would like to once again thank Dreena and Emma for all your help at the start of our claim and to the other 2 how can you sleep at night?
