Winder Joinery

I needed to replace our garden gate and so asked a local joinery firm to quote - which came to over 1000 fitted - so I decided to do it myself. I knew the gate from Winder would be the right size but I didnt know if it would fit on the spindles on the existing concrete gate post. It wouldnt! - so I set to to try and get the old rusted spindles off and securely fit the new ones on - which took a bit of doing. But now its all finished and it all fits perfectly with a satisfying clunk when it closes (and I have a great sense of satisfaction having achieved it!) - all at a quarter of the original estimated cost! Winder Joinery suppled a beautiful high quality garden gate. My contact Gary was brilliant to deal with and always a pleasure to talk to. The company willingly made minor amendments i requested to the design and were able to find a particular type face for the name carved into the gate, one they had never used before. When ordering online it always feels like your taking a chance but with Winder Joinery I need not have worried, from start to finish their service is first class with great communication from Gary, we are so pleased with the 2 Gates that we ordered, In the past I have worked in a Joiners shop and I am very critical over timber products but I cannot fault the Gates as they are an extremely high quality and well made product from a company that know what there doing - first class Service: Custom carpentry services
