Chapel Market Serviced Apartments

I can honestly say this is one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. We had just arrived in London for a long term stay with numerous suitcases and bags. After climbing 3 narrow stair cases which were too narrow to properly manoeuvre our bags we arrived at our room to find the door open with garbage bags outside it. Despite being an hour after check-in we found a cleaner still cleaning our room. He looked at us and rudely said "come back in half an hour". I could not believe it, what an absolute joke. We had to go and wait somewhere on the street for our room to be ready 1.5 hours after check-in! I complained to the managers and they promised a partial refund which they never actually provided even after numerous emails.

Starting with the staircase to get to our flat - tiny and twisty. Do not come here if you have large suitcases, you simply wont fit between the walls. Also do not come here if you value quiet night sleep. The neighborhood is extremely noisy with no soundproofing of the Windows. The whole apartment is probably good for one person but it was too tiny for two. On the positive note - grocery stores are close, location is good, the flat is clean and warm, with modern bathrooms. Having said that, there is no room to put your toiletries.

We were given the apartment on the 3rd floor. very very narrow stairs (impossible to carry suitcases). .....which was not specified in the ad. Very noisy apartment. The bed is in a mezzanine where it is impossible to stand up because of the sloping ceilings. You have to stay leaning. We had rented for 5 nights and left after the first night. We warned them of our departure and our dissatisfaction and they did not even have the courtesy to reimburse us (at least in part) for the 4 nights not consumed (Original) Absolument horrible ..... fuir Quartier pouvantable craignos ! On nous a donn l'appartement au 3 me tage . escaliers trs trs troits ( impossible de monter des valises ) . .....ce qui n'tait pas prcis dans l'annonce . Appartement trs bruyant . Le lit est dans une mezzanine ou il est impossible de se tenir debout car plafonds en pente . Il faut rester pench . Nous avions lou pour 5 nuits et sommes partis aprs la premire nuit . Nous les avons prvenu de notre dpart et de notre insatisfaction et ils n'ont mme pas eu la courtoisie de nous rembourser ( au moins en partie ) les 4 nuits non consommes
