Edit to below response: As I said, I have already filled out this form but no one responded to it. This is a very unprofessional branch. They have the radio blaring adverts and pop music, there are assistants on the phone shouting and arguing with customers, they shout your name from the other end of the room rather than waking to you to call you in to your appointment, they dont close the doors for appointments so everyone hears your medical story, the equipment is very dirty and I have never seen them wipe down between patient use. My latest arrival at the branch greeted me with Yes? and a long stare - no smile, warmth or explanation of process from that person for the entire interaction (even though they were the ones who were meant to be supporting me through trying contact lenses). I was handed contact lenses to try and was left to work out what to do on my own while the optometrist and assistant joined a possy of staff gossiping about the newly painted walls. I heard one of them scream I love this song from next door while singing along. Its so uncomfortable for the patient who is in a medical setting. I also sent a complaint on the centralised Specsavers website a week ago about an experience at the branch but they havent acknowledged or replied, even though it says they respond in 48 hours. Ive been going to Specsavers for 31 years but I dont want these experiences again when it comes to my healthcare so Im going to change.

Nora at the Angel branch was so helpful today and friendly (even though it was just before closing time!) so Id absolutely recommend - thanks Nora!

I accompanied my wife to Specsavers for a eye test to replace her glasses and she received a great service with the staff from selecting her glasses in replace of the old one.

Its now April 23. Im bit obsessed with buying glasses and including return visits to pick up my glasses order, over nearly two years I have visited this store about 8 times and without fail every time the service I receive is excellent. 20 out of 10! Full stars all round. Every time I come here the staff are always so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, professional and polite. This time, both visits, I was looked after by Jo who was absolutely excellent. Made me feel very at home and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble and Jo absolutely knew what she was doing. Made me smile, made me laugh. Thank you Jo! All the staff I have encountered here are great and all my eight pairs of reading glasses are fantastic. Any little glitches Ive had were sorted pretty much immediately. My experience without fail is this is a great store with great staff. Highly recommend. 6 months later Ive come for my second round of visits, see my review of first visit below, and once again 10 out of 10. I came to spend my golden ticket ( glasses at half price) and to buy an extra pair on top of that and the service was absolutely first class. Same member of staff dealt with me for both my selection and order, plus the pick up a week later and he was polite, professional, friendly and knowledgable. Ive received nothing but great service at this store every time. Really, based on all my visits I couldnt recommend this store highly enough. This was my first eye test and my first pair of reading glasses. From beginning to end everything about my experience at Specsavers Islington was 10 out of 10. From the very welcoming guy who booked my appointment in store, to everyone on the day of the appointment to the pick up for my glasses a week later. All fantastic! Excellent! Really felt like I was in safe, knowledgeable, friendly and professional hands all the time. Based on my experience I couldnt recommend highly enough.
