Dr a Murphy - Ellis Practice

I've noticed a significant improvement in the service provided by this GP surgery lately. The introduction of the triaging service has been very useful, and I appreciate the effort the staff put in to ensure I receive the care I need in a timely manner. I recently had a very good experience with the practice physiotherapist, who was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Overall, I highly recommend this GP surgery for anyone looking for reliable and efficient healthcare

Absolutely disgusting place. Not even worth 1 star. Now sending out texts blackmailing you that if you don't go for services like smears that they get paid extra for you could be removed from their practice. Absolutely vile disgusting and revolting to send out such a thing. But if you want a GP appointment tough luck Avoid this place at all costs. Despicable Nasty and down right rude receptionists. Needs closing down.

I have been with this GP for over 18 years, and they have completely declined when it comes to service. When you call they leave you on hold for over an hour and when you finally get number 1 in the queue they end the call on you. I have been trying to book an appointment online for the past 2 weeks (as they say you can only book it online now) but when you go to the website or patient access it says no available appointments !!! The receptionist did answer once during the 2 frustrating weeks of trying to get an appointment and they were completely unprofessional. Telling me "you have to book online we can do anything about it". Dr Murphy has been my Doctor all my life and its sad to see how much the Ellis Practice has declined in service. I have now registered with a new GP and the treatment I've gotten is impeccable.

I have an appointment for my son at 5:30 pm with Dr.Murphy the lady at the reception was very rude,and they cancel my appointment without letting me know and no reason,I was there at 5:30 as my appointment was booked for my son,I been at the reception to let them know we are there and informed the doctor,but the girl at the reception was very rude and impolite with raised voice telling me that I suppose to take my son off school today,and him can have low attendance at school,I explain her they supposed to let me know and I told her she dont have respect for people because she was behaving badly in front of my son,I ask her to call the doctor and see what I can do,because was not my fault,I have appointment we been there otime they supposed to help me instead to be rude and show me disrespect,plus she was racist telling me people like us,at that moment I told her,I have the Gp from 12 years and never in my life was happening something like that,plus Im not disturbed the Gp every day with problems,I come maibe once in a year,my son he have a health problem from 3 month we did some test and today Dr.Murphy she book him to see him and check again and give us medicine for treat him problem.We pay for our services at Gp its not like I ask the lady to do something free,I ask the girl to give me her name to mention it here and the manager of my Gp can see what staff its there and how impolite and rude this girl she was to me.Very disappointed,really very disappointed.
