Dr J Joseph - Uxendon Crescent Surgery

I'm really impressed with this surgery - Particularly the receptionists . Me and my family have recently moved down south and we were in desperate need of registering with a gp. After trying 3 different surgeries who never called me back and messed me about. I telephoned the practice - I managed to speak a human (rare these days!) straight away. They were really good with me and my 8 week old daughter and managed to squeeze us in an appointment the following week. Fabulous service!! Would definitely recommend.

Words cannot describe the level of dissatisfaction with this place. My pregnant wife got a vaccine and developed very severe side effects (which were expected to some extent). For 2 days she tried to contact the GP for a quick phone call or check up as no pharmacy would give her anything without prescription. In vain has she tried to call - they would promise to call back but never did. When confronted they just send you to Northwick Park Hospital. This is not the first time we are treated like this. Every time my wife was sick they would just rush you off or make you fill in some useless online form directed by a robot. You might as well google your symptoms. The GP is always busy with other bookings and never has time for you. When you cannot take it anymore you call the ambulance and pray not to get sick ever again. Thank God I am never sick but once I had a terrible headache for 3 days and went in to ask if someone could kindly check my blood pressure. It was an impossible task for them - they told me the next available date was in 2 weeks. Eventually I bought a machine from amazon and did it myself. Sometimes I wonder what they do all day every time you need something they cannot help you and rush you off somewhere else or just hang up the phone. My question is why is the state still paying these people from our taxes? I would give it a negative 5 star. Im sorry, I never write reviews but this is just ridiculous. You could go there and die inside the place and they still dont care about you.

I've been trying to make an appointment for a long time and I couldn't. the front desk staff is not very friendly, they don't have the patience to listen to you and they never have a place for an appointment. They tell you every time you call tomorrow morning to check if they have a appointment available for you or to call at 15:00 pm and the answer is the same

This surgery doesn't help the patients they don't care about the time of appointments as I had appointment at 10:55Am and they waitede for about an hour because the doctor was on phone. Very disappointed still I am setting and waiting for him to finish his call.

Gotta wait around 2 hours in line to tell them what my problem is, and then they tell me that everything is fully booked? Ive given them 67 calls and 67 times the line was busy.. its really pathetic..
