St Edmund's is a beautiful small church with a very welcoming vicar and community. When I visited the church was running it's food bank. I'm sure St Edmund would whole heartedly support the iniative.
The stations of the Cross are unique the work of a local artist.
The statue of Our Lady and the "rood" where carved by the same artist. Take a close look at the "rood" in addition to the traditional figures, it depicts a Roman soldier, presumably he who made the declaration of faith at the foot of the Cross.
