        Spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage , this week. The owners have thought of just about everything to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible,even down to treats for our dog ,and bowls if needed. T,V with Netflix and Amazon in every room,,so close to all the amenities in Barnard Castle, very clean and modern decor...as regular visitors to Barnard Castle we will definitely be back..Thankyou to Gemma and Gavin for a great stay.. Dave Jan and Teddy the dog..

        We are first time visitors to Barnard Castle. We booked and stayed at The Maltings Cottage after seeing the Pictures on their website. The owners have thought of everything even down to the treats they left for our dog :) They even left a towel out for her after our muddy walks. The location is fabulous and you really are in the heart of Barnard Castle. We recommend the Bowes Museum, Raby Castle and Breakfast at the Hayloft. We will be back!!!
