A lovely deli in Barnard Castle, serving sandwiches made to your taste, pies, cold cuts of meat and everything with friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended if you need lunch on the go.

We bought marinated coronation chicken breast, farmhouse sausages dry cured bacon, mince pies and corned beef pasties along with a wholemeal loaf and meringue pie and we couldn't fault any of them for their quality, taste and the friendly courteous service from the staff. Thankyou

We were staying in Barnard Castle for a short break we had a meal out and I had the steak and ale pie at it was the best pie I'd ever had, I asked whether they were made in house but was told they came from William Peats, we ordered 10 to take home with us and just put two in the oven to have for our dinner and they were still as amazing as in the pub where we had the meal, my only regret is we didn't order more, oh well now have a excuse to have a short stay in Barnard Castle again

Just tried the scotch egg we bought earlier today from this establishment. Don't temember ever having a better one anywhere previously. Can't wait to try the bread we also purchased. Don't think ws will be let down. Epic, food that raises the bar. Highly recommended.
