Was recommended to use Buxton 4x4 by a local garage as they didn't specialise in Land Rover. Martin and his team performed an absolutely excellent diagnostic and fault repair solution for a good few puzzles that had afflicted my freelander 2 for a year. He took time to explain clearly which issues he could solve straight away, which needed looking into, and was fully transparent at every stage. Each piece of work was performed diligently and honestly with only parts needed being replaced; he even suggested not spending money unnecessarily and to call him when a part had reached its end of life which he felt confident to predict (and I believe him!) - a great experience, I have found my new specialist, and he'll be putting up with my irks and gripes from now on! Highly recommend Buxton 4x4 Limited! On holiday last week in February 2023 and having problems with my 2014 Freelander 2 going into limp mode at the beginning of my holiday. My usual garage 250 miles away. Rang Martin, very helpful and said he would look at car that day. Diagnosed problem quickly (EGR VALVE issues) and fitted me in the next day to fit a new one. Work done and car returned same day. All good, well priced, professional and attentive. Thinking of having time away in this area when the service is due and get them to do it! It's a solid 10 from me. Thanks.
