Had a really great overlocker class here, it was really fun and I came away confident in using my overlocker!

Last weekend I attended a knitting course. Oh my it was just a fabulous day. Very helpful and felt I learnt so much. The teacher was excellent just the right speed and very helpful. The day was very well paced with lots of tea coffee etc delicious cake biscuits. Looked after so well. I enjoyed the day so much now I am Signing up for the crochet course. Never done it before but am so impressed. The room is delightful so anyone needing sewing knitting etc I cannot recommend this enough. If you fancy a day with a friend it would be a great way to spend time doing things together learning a new skill.

I have ordered four of Sew Ab Fabs dressmaking kits and have made two of the garments so far. Everything you need is included, the pattern, fabric, needles, thread, buttons or zips if required, and even a tea bag so you can enjoy a cup of tea while reading through the pattern instructions. As a beginner I had been nervous of choosing the right fabric and needles for a project, but that is all done for you with the carefully curated selection by Sew Ab Fab. If you are struggling at any point there is also a Sew Ab Fab YouTube channel with videos to refer to. The kits arrive beautifully packaged and presented and so would also make a perfect present for a dressmaker you know, whether they are a beginner like me, or an accomplished sewer.

Ive been ordering Carolines sewing kits since she first started and I think Ive made pretty much all of them! Caroline has a real eye for on-trend patterns that are simple to sew and for a wonderful fabric to make them in too. I love the way that the patterns and fabric she chooses all work so well together to help make a capsule wardrobe. Today, for example, Im wearing the Flint trousers in denim with the High Cuff top in the navy colourway. In fact, I love my Flint trousers so much Ive already made a second pair, and am about to cut out a third! The helpful hints are always welcome and I do love the individual teabag she always supplies with the kits, its these little touches that make it such a treat to receive one of her boxes. And although Ive pretty much ordered every single one, I do like the fact that they are all one off purchases with no commitment,. Shipping is always super speedy too. Id wholeheartedly recommend them to any sewer, beginner or more experienced alike. Great value kits that will quickly become wardrobe staples.

I bought a fabulous kit to make a Japanese style apron from Sew Ab fab. I am very new to sewing and wasn't confident about how it would turn out, but thought I would give it a go. The kit arrived quickly with everything I could need, including the right needles for my machine. I didn't have to match thread or work out material sizes etc. There was a great sheet inside with tips for how to get the most from the pattern. I would suggest you make the most of these tip sheets! My apron worked! I am so proud of it that I sent it to my mum as a gift! I will definitely be using these kits again.
