The current building was built in 1526 and thought to have replaced the existing 400 year old structure. In 1996 this building became the first village hall to be licensed to hold civil marriages. It has gained Grade 11 listing status.

We had our wedding ceremony here in August and it was just brilliant. the buidling itself is beautiful, we were allowed to decorate just how we wanted and everyone commented on how beautiful it is. Robin who I dealt with from booking through to our day is lovely and so incredibly helpful. She made our day as stress free as possible, 100% recommend!
