Nice pub. Pop in there for a cider at lunch time while working in the area.

The menu takes a while to digest but worth the read. Starters of Octopus nibbles, calamari and tempura prawn were excellent as were the mains of red thai curry, lamb kebab and the steak served on a massive board of goodies, unfortunatley no room for pudding. The four of us came away happy. 25.4.23

Only people in the pub on a Saturday night eating past 8pm.. No bread and oils, only Tzatziki suggested, which was ok but tasted like just cucumber and mayonnaise with some warm pitta on reflection. Baked feta was nice, but presentation skills lacking. The Pad thai my partner had was inedible, hard noodles, no crunch of fresh veggies or nuts, and left frankly, a disgusting stale fish taste in your mouth for ages afterwards. My Panang curry had lovely flavours, hence two stars, and the lady serving our table was efficient. Chocolate brownie for desert was left mostly uneaten too as it tasted microwaved and processed, along with the ice cream. Shame, as it was my birthday and was looking forward to a decent meal.
