I reserved a car online by paying a 100 fee online, through their website. The next morning, first thing, I spoke with a lady from the car dealership to confirm my reservation and discuss when I was would be collecting the car. At lunch time, I received a call to say that someone had reserved the car online 15 minutes before me, therefore the car has been sold to them and they thought I was someone else when I spoke with them on the telephone earlier in the day. All in all, as I'm sure you can imagine, I'm left feeling quite disappointed with my experience of the dealership. I took out a loan to pay for the car, which I am now needing to return. They did refund my deposit on the same day, but they initially offered to send a cheque, to which I requested a bank transfer. I would suggest that they take a look at their reservation process, if more than one person is able to reserve a vehicle.
