The Barford Inn

Had a great overnight stay at the Barford Inn. Very friendly landlady who looked after us very well. Room was spotless and comfortable. We had an excellent breakfast with the best coffee I have tasted in a long while. Will definitely be returning and hopefully on a night when food is on offer as the kitchen is closed on Sunday evenings. Added bonus was that our dog was very welcome. Noteworthy details: Dog friendly.

This pub has such a welcoming Staff , the service is great. The food was awesome, there are traditional English dishes but also some European dishes . My husband had the Steak and Kidney Pie and said he never had a better one! I had the Suflaki which was tender and very flavourful. On leaving we had a really nice chat with the landlady , we could not have been made to feel at home. Thank you , we will definitely return!
