        We had a meal for two in the middle of the week at lunch time and the quality of both meals was awful, possible the worst we have had in a pub anywhere and the staff didn't seem bothered about it when we complained, needless to say we cannot recommend it and we won't be visiting again Food & drinks: Awful

        We've just enjoyed a fabulous Mother's Day lunch at Barbon Inn. The food was delicious, plentiful and faultless. The service was both friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Our dog snoozed in the warmth from the welcoming open fire. We'll look forward to a return visit!

        The place is lovely, I had the terrine theres room for improvement on this dish. Mains fish chips mushy peas tartar sauce, very nice. I had swan a local beer very nice Open fire in cast iron range We will be back, Im a chef been in hospitality for far to many years so Im a picky individual. Nothing personal cheers
