I hired CB Heat to replace an immersion boiler and to replace gas storage heaters with central heating. The visited the property, provided pictures of where the work would be carried out and they installed everything in about 5 working days. I was very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship of Gerry who conducted the install. I was very impressed with the timing and also the fact that they kept to budget.

We have used CB Heat a number of times; most recently for moving and fitting new radiators. Recommended.

They came our really quickly and for a reasonable price when our boiler started leaking at the beginning of winter. Also gave really good advice regarding the system we have.

WARNING TO HOMEBUYERS Disclaimer: This is a late review for works carried out in Apr time, which I warned CB Heat of 24th April if they were not to consider my complaint seriously. No response was received following my second email to highlight the issues identified. CB Heat performed a poor boiler service by passing a boiler with an evident leaky seal that had corrosive damage from over a minimum of 12 months. It is possible this issue was missed, everyone makes professional mistakes. However CB Heat did not make any attempts to resolve the issue (before and after I paid another professional to fix it). The reason for my upset was because the passing boiler service provided to me by the sellers of the property (at the time) factored into my decision to purchase the house. CB Heat should have reported the issues to the previous owner so that they could resolve the issues prior to my contractual purchase. Moving into your first home is already financially straining enough without needing to spend additional money on fixing issues that should have been identified by the professionals we choose to trust. When I contacted CB Heat they were unavailable for a least 2 weeks to assess the issue (however this was due to explainable non-business related extenuating circumstances). Positive over the phone to interact with, but very poor at upholding a dedication to professional misconduct upon discovery of an issue. I would like to believe CB Heat are a good company and they hold quality reviews. However their professional conduct upon discovery of an issue should be considered before considering them as your tradesman. Any honest trader should accept their own mistakes as well as successes.
