We have a 13-month-old, very energetic English Show Cocker Spaniel called Cooper. Who is a lockdown pup and one who has seperation anxiety. Cooper being a Covid pup has meant that the normal, leaving the dog to go into the office, has been and continues to be (in our situation) a thing of the past. The repercussions of that being a generation of dogs with all sorts of behavioural issues. Cooper not being an exception to the rule. We got to a point with Cooper, where we couldn't even get to the front door without Cooper blocking it. If we did get out of the door, he would instantly panic, claw at the door, howl and bark and wouldn't stop until we came back in. We were at breaking point where we felt we might have to re home him. At this point, we knew something had to happen, for us to be able to lead a normal or as close to normal life. I reached out to Chantal to say how hard we were finding things and Chantal instantly talked us through the online separation anxiety course that she was personally running. She talked us through some of the areas it would cover and what to expect. We had nothing to lose so signed up immediately. Friends and family at the time were telling us, we were being silly and should just tackle it head on, leave him at home, he will have to get on with it, don't do the course. I can't express how relieved I am to say that we ignored those voices and went ahead with the course. The online course was amazing in teaching us how to tackle separation anxiety, step by step, building it up over a period of time and giving us the tools, guidance and support to really start to see a change in Cooper. Chantals sessions were packed full of useful info, interactive sections and a really supportive forum with other pup owners who were going through the exact same thing. Chantal wrote our plan each week, which we followed and set up great WhatsApp group so we could ask questions. Chantal was always amazing at getting back to us with any questions we had or worries and keeping us on track with our training. Chantal always brings a empathetic, pragmatic approach, underpinned by her clear wealth of knowledge and experience which as a puprent who was struggling at the time, fills you with confidence and a "I can do this" feeling. Cooper has come a long way, we can leave him regularly for several hours with no hassle, no door guarding and more importantly showing very little anxiety. We have been building this up over time and continued to follow the guidance set on the course. We had a total milestone moment last night for the first time we left him for 5 hours, checked in on him via camera several times and are very pleased to say that he was absolutely fine. Slept most of the time we were out. This has only been achievable due to the fantastic work Chantal does. Her wealth and depth of knowledge is amazing, her empathy and relatability is exceptional and we couldn't thank her and her amazing team enough for how far Cooper has come. Thank you so much Chantal. We are forever grateful and def wouldn't be where we are today without you and your amazing support at getting us and Cooper through such difficult and testing times. I couldn't recommend Chantal and CK9 more highly.

I worked with chantal for my dogs seperation anxiety. I did an online group session for 8weeks. I learnt so much about my dogs behaviours and how to combat or encourage them. I can now leave buddy for a few hours each day which is amazing as 30seconds was too much before we started our sessions. Thank you so much you have changed our lives

Before we spoke to Chantal our year old cockapoo Butler couldnt cope with us even going near the door to leave. We were lost with what to do, had tried everything we had read on the internet and were close to accepting we would never be able to leave him. With a structured training plan and commitment from our side of at least a few sessions a week Butler can now manage 30 minutes alone time without getting stressed and we can start to see our social life returning on the horizon! Thanks so much to Chantal for all your help!

Couldn't rate Chantal any more highly - would thoroughly recommend to anyone considering. We were recommended to CK9 from a friend also using the service, who had come on a recommendation themselves! Great reputation purely through word of mouth says it all... We had four weeks of training with Chantal to help our 8 month old Cockapoo with separation anxiety. She was incredibly knowledgable and helpful - we'd done a lot of research beforehand online about SA and how to train/help the issue and felt like we were quite clued up, but Chantal actually dispelled quite a few bits of inaccurate information that was hindering our progress. She's also absolutely lovely and incredibly personable and was a very sympathetic ear to the trials and tribulations of having an adolescent dog!! The course of the 4 weeks was structured, so whilst we had Chantal for guidance, we were empowered to take the training into our own hands as well, and build our own confidence and knowledge on working on the issue at hand. Chantal also took time to help us and guide us through other issues we were having unrelated to the SA, which was incredibly helpful and made a massive difference as well. We finished the 4 week course feeling very confident about how to continue training and building up time periods to get to our desired goal. As I said before, would absolutely recommend to anyone considering!
