Alltogether Animal Assisted Therapy provided a fantastic service to Mum who had dementia. Mum loved animals and the dogs were her favourites. Mum would not communicate much but her eyes lit up and she became more alert and responsive to the dogs. Her favourite was Daisy one of the twin chihuahua pups. Daisy brought out a side of Mum nothing else could. They often curled up on her chair and fell asleep. The therapy is an absolute asset to all types of disability or condition. Mum certainly benefited from visits from Bev .
