Sassa's Bespoke Cakes

We booked Sassas for our wedding in October and could not have been happier with our cake. It looked lovely and tasted even better! We had three different flavours and all were delicious - and lots of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the cake too! Giles was very helpful throughout the process and kept in touch often. We booked Sassas Cakes for our wedding day and we are so glad we did! We went to a wedding fair initially in Newmarket way back in January 2017! The minute we saw their display we knew we wanted our cake to be made by them. We were going for a woodland rustic theme and Debbie designed us the cake of our dreams and included our pet Alfie! There were so many compliments on the day and guests didnt realise it was a cake as it looked so realistic! The finished look was outstanding and could not have booked a better place! The flavours offered were vast and tasted absolutely amazing, We went for orange and passion fruit, Black Forest, and red velvet! All tasted absolutely delicious! If anyone is looking to book their wedding cake do not hesitate to book with sassas! They are so talented and did not fail to Impress!!! Thank you so much for making our day extra special! Our wedding cake was a masterpiece! Not only that, Sassa's were a total pleasure to deal with. We went 2 tiers of cherry bakewell and black forest, covered in yummy white chocolate ganache, with cascading ganache flowers to match our colour palette. It tasted incredible, and was just so beautiful! We were over the moon to have some left :)

We could not recommend Sassas Cakes more! Thank you so much for creating such a stunning and very delicious cake for our wedding in May 2022. Everyone was so supportive in our day being postponed, and created a stunning design that was exactly what wed hoped for! The cake itself was also absolutely delicious! All the flavours we tried in our trial were moreish and tasty! But the flavours we chose in the end of Orange and passion fruit, Black Forest and Coffee and Kahlua went down a treat and all our guests commented on how lovely the cake was! Thank you for creating such a wonderful design and cake for us! We could not recommended you more highly!

Sassa Cakes were hired originally for a 2020 wedding but then due to covid we needed to postpone my clients wedding to August 2021. Throughout the enquiry, booking and postponement they responded promptly to my emails . On the day we had some challenges with flies in the marquee and an eager dog eying up the cake! They thought "outside" the box and wrapped the cake in clingfilm to ensure no flies came into contact with it. I then "unwrapped" it half way through dinner. I can confirm in 19 years I have never had to do this but we didn't want flies landing on the cake so this was an ideal solution. And THIS is what makes a phenomenal supplier, someone who thinks "what can I do" instead of delivering then walking away. The 2021 wedding season is completely crazy with suppliers working flat out but none of this showed with their communication nor delivery. As a customer, I was appreciative of the professional standard they upheld. I've organised hundreds of weddings over the years and I can spot a professional, and Sassa Cakes are definitely a supplier you can trust
