Bought a new home in 2016, they never kept their promises to resolve the snag list. New homes will produce creaking sounds and you have to live with that as its part of the design which they will not tell affront. You'll find after 1 year. You will be under the mercy of your build mark provider's warranty with fingers crossed for resolution. Best to avoid this builder. I would prefer not a single star to this company. 2019 update With help of NHBC work was done to reduce the creaking noise form ground floor ceiling. NHBC contacted heyford homes to repair the work, they not responded back and the work was done by NHBC contractors.

Absolutely disgusted with the finish and plumbing issues, I have taken 175 pictures of defects and that's without looking very hard.I can't understand how such bad workmanship has been signed off and not picked up by the site foreman/ management if only i suspect that they probably not very good at their jobs they really don't know what to look for if they worked for my company i would had sacked them,They have let me come in to the house like this.The Architrave has been badly painted with little or no gloss on the returns, not painted behind door hinges, the skirting boards resemble sandpaper suspect they've been glossed with dirt and dust in place,spindles along with all the other gloss work resemble orange peel and as goes for the walls which look like a patch work quilt when the light hits them and they can't even manage to get a straight line of mastic along the floor and skirting board.defects everywhere
