Never have experienced a car dealership working so hard to keep the customer happy AFTER THE SALE. I got direct, and honest answers before the sale, and I still have whom to turn to with questions, now that they got my business. Kudos to the team, really.

Breach of Verbal Contract - So much for "my word is my bond" My mum recently purchased a car from Eden in a part exchange for her existing Vauxhall (loyal Vauxhall custom). My mum was offered a purchase price on her old car there and then. Unfortunately it couldn't be sold at that point due to administrative reasons (the V5C being transferred from my late dad to my mum). My mum did however complete the purchase of her new vehicle from Eden. I contacted Eden earlier this week to confirm my intent to come in with the old car today to complete the sale. No issues were raised at this point. I visited Eden today to complete the sale of my mum's car. I was told the car can't be purchased by them due to a corporate national purchasing ban. I had arranged for my wife to pick me up after the sale of the vehicle and we live over 10 miles away. Combined that's created 40+ miles of unnecessary driving for both myself and my wife, not to mention wasted time. Eden couldn't really have cared less and were matter of fact about it. This part exchange process has reaffirmed my exceptionally low lack of trust in car salesmen.
