Went here 25th Nov 2022. Stayed 2 nights room 7 amazing weekend. Host amazing food plenty of it made very welcome room was very clean tidy comfy warm plenty clothes room very nice bathroom clean and fresh plenty tea coffee milk etc. very beautiful place to stay close to town. And very helpful when asking about Oxford which we took bus 7.50 return definitely would stay again. Very friendly warm owners. Full disclosure: I came to Prospect House for business and it was arranged for me and the cost was included in the cost of my business. However...that does not affect my thoughts in any way. I would chose Prospect House in any situation. So here goes: Valerie and Steve are amazingly friendly people who absolutely care about their business. Great people, loved meeting and talking with them for the duration of my stay. Always personable, but genuinely so, not "scripted" because they think that's what they need to do. I had room 9 which is basically a flat in itself with a separate entry, kitchenette that included a stove top, microwave, small fridge, toaster, slow cooker, and panini maker, plus all pots n pans n utensils! So for long term stay, this is what you're looking for. Housekeeping: absolutely impeccable. Immaculate. Refreshed coffee/tea service every day, bottle of water, cookies (ok, biscuits), just done, clean, fresh, no worries at all. Breakfast: just ask. amazing. whatever you want. I could live in room 9 as a full time flat. Seriously, no bad word to say regarding Prospect House.
