        A pleasant quaint establishment reminiscent of a Devon farmhouse with period furniture, rustic tile floor and photographs of local interest adorning the walls. A clean and relaxed atmosphere with spectacular friendly service without being overbearing; the proprietor was happy to chat and exchange pleasantrys with all. I had a lovely breakfast, arriving promptly, well presented, fresh, hot and reasonably priced. Good coffee also. I would happily return and recommend this cafe.

        Always a pleasure visiting the Toucan, they really look after cyclists. I always have the eggs benedict as chef does a great hollandaise sauce.

        A great find. Very warm and welcoming. Sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. Lots of choice of hot or cold options. Also great choice of drinks. Would have loved a cake afterwards but far too full from the amazing sandwiches. Will definitely return again.
