A lovely little shop. Full of treasures and tucked away out of site in the corner of the walled garden. Always a must for a browse.

Was trying something on which was 95 and would have purchased. But was rather rudely told they were trying to close. This was at 4.10 and they close at 4.30! Lost the sale obviously!

Reviewing this mainly from the perspective of the amazing pizza (crunchy crust, while still slightly elastic - quite perfect, went back for extra slices) and lovely ice cream stall in the walled garden. Would highly recommend pizza at 10 for pepperoni, particularly good value in Bamburgh. However our experience of the shop was also good and we got a lovely bag of shells for 2.49.

We went in here to get our children a cuddly toy. As they sat down to pick which one they wanted the lady rudely told them off asking them not to mess the toys up. My children where being really well behaved, and hadn't even touched the toys yet. we decided not to give this shop our money and left. Not sure how a child is supposed to pick a toy if they can't even have a look at what they want. We were going to buy other items but due to this rudeness they missed out on a Sale. I would have thought after the pandemic they would have welcomed our custom. Such a shame. Only positive is it saved me spending 20 on a overpriced cuddly toy.
