The English House

We had a year of hell due to Jane Jobson and her partner Terry Naylor when they were based in Leamington Spa as Jane Jobson Interiors. Please, please, please don't give them any deposits! Yes, they're very lovely at first but you'll soon see a very different side when you're chasing your undelivered orders. Items we ordered just didn't turn up - even though we'd paid deposits and some in full. They lied continually about the status of our items and booked tradesmen who never turned up. We found out from the kitchen manufacturer that although we'd paid Jane our deposit, she hadn't paid them a penny. We ended up paying the manufacturer direct to release the remaining kitchen furniture to us. Room measurements that taken by Terry were incorrect so we had to adapt what was delivered. We also ended up buying all our Kuppersbusch kitchen appliances direct because Jane claimed that she could no longer source them in the UK. Truth was that she'd underquoted to get the work, taken our deposits and then tried to fob us off with Bosch! We were lucky that we made our last payment to her by credit card and managed to recoup it through the credit card company who claimed direct on Jane. Cowboy Builders also spoke to us during their investigation but as we were still trying to negotiate having our items released, they couldn't use us. Please take heed of the warnings as I'd hate to see anyone go through what we did.

The English House has now completed numerous projects for us at a commercial & domestic level. Jane is very quick to understand our needs and to assist our decision making using her expertise & experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality interior design.

Let the buyer beware... We have a twelve month torrid experience with Jane Jobson (AKA Clark) and her boyfriend Terry Naylor - English House Interior Design. We were warned about Jane Jobson Contracts, they had a previous business Jane Jobson Interior Design go under prior to using them, but they seemed so genuine and had a lovely showroom on our doorstep in Leamington Spa. We thought anyone can have bad luck. We bought a couple of pieces from their showroom to test the water, once these were delivered we then placed the order for a full reconstruction to our ground floor. They completed half the project... well over the original time set out and then everything ground to a halt. Later we discovered suppliers were unpaid, getting sign off on building regulations was nearly impossible as we had to repay for things to get suppliers to agree. It was a total nightmare. Feel free to mention this to them and I'm sure they will give you a perfectly valid reason as they always did whenever problems arose with us. However it is just one big web of deceit. I'm not one to write reviews but I would hate to see anyone go through the stress and pain we suffered. Don't believe me watch 'Cowboy Builders: Series 9 - Leamington Spa'. Please heed this advice.

So Jane Jobson (now calling herself Clark) is at it again. After two failed attempts to run a business, Jane Jobson Interior Design followed swiftly by Jane Jobson Contracts, she's crawled out from under her stone, to reinvent herself as The English House. Residents of Balsall Common, BEWARE. Not only did she, and her odious boyfriend Terry Naylor, steal from me, but she also stole from The Polished Floor & Carpet Company, Leamington Spa and The Farnhouse Pub & Restaurant, Coventry. But hey, don't take my word for it, you can watch Jane Jobson and Terry Naylor on Channel 5's Cowboy Builders and see all her other victims. Jane, what goes around, comes around and I have a very long memory. I've already contacted Cowboy Builders and Trading Standards to tell them what you're up to again...
