Stayed for a weekend in February 2023 with my partner. The girl on reception was friendly and helpful and check in was quick. Our lodge (No4) was lovely with a fab TV that had Freeview play so easy to watch anything on catch up after a hard day walking/ sightseeing. Unfortunately the lodges are quite close to each other and have huge windows so overlooked somewhat. As we were expecting a "luxury" lodge we were surprised there wasn't a TV in the bedroom. And no welcome pack of coffee / tea. This seems a little thing but we have stayed in quite a few lodges over the years and almost all have a couple of coffee sachets / milk etc to get you started. Not a major issue just something I feel would be a nice gesture. You do get a complementary hot drink at the old barn coffee shop but would prefer a morning coffee in the lodge before the coffee shop opens. All in all a lovely weekend away from the norm.
