Patrick Henry offer a personal service that is unique and the team make the process of either selling, buying or renting much more open and they're a pleasure to work with. I've worked with Patrick for many years and he always goes the extra mile and they're very helpful, professional and open. Refreshing customer service and his team kept me sane during my recent sale. Big thumbs up from me and a huge thank you.

Please consider other options before choosing to rent with Patrick Henry. On initially signing they were friendly and appeared helpful. Slight snags on moving in included the hallway being under construction - this was not a problem as we were told within 6 months it was being refurbished. Fast forward 2 years and the hallway still looked the same. During the tenancy PH were good at responding to queries, and if a problem needed fixing, then they were responsive and eventually the issue would be fixed. They really let themselves down when the tenancy ended. Granted, there would be some marks on the walls (wear and tear). We were charged a full redecoration. The place came furnished with basic cutlery and utensils. We replaced these with better equipment. We were then charged for this on checkout. We enquired in person if the company would like the Sofa and TV which we bought for the place. They agreed and we left this for them. We were then charged for this on departure as well. Attempts were made to charge us for markings on the ceiling due to water leaks, caused by a faulty roof. The final straw was an attempt to charge us for an extra months rent at the end of the tenancy. After supplying good evidence why this was not reasonable, we had to go through a long and drawn out process with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, providing pieces of evidence to support our claim. Thankfully, the TDS agreed that we did not owe a months extra rent. We were returned this part of our deposit. Whilst we put up with a construction site of a hallway for 2 years and numerous problems with noise due to construction in properties of the same building (which we were not made aware of before signing the contract), attempts to take all of our deposit were a real kick in the teeth considering an anything but smooth tenancy. PLEASE consider all of the above before signing with Patrick Henry and be prepared to have to dispute the whole amount of your deposit (on unfair grounds) at the end of your tenancy.
