Chadwick Butchers

My favourite butchers in SW. Happy to drive 20 minutes away from home each time to shop with them. The staff are always lovely and friendly even when I ask lots of questions. Thank you Shane for helping me request, and Mark for making the Scottish lorn sausage even though this is something you only make during the colder months. The Scotsman at home is very happy. Also thank you (other) Mark for giving me cooking tips! You guys are a wonderful team. You know youre shopping at a serious butcher when they make their own dripping and broth. I just bought a month worth of smoked rindless bacon.... And the smoked garlic, black garlic... More pork chops.... Sausage. I only came in for a few slices lol Lovely staff and brilliant products.

EDIT: I fear this place has gone downhill. No record of my order, which they made up on the spot from the odds and ends they happened to have behind the counter. Neither the quality of service nor the quality of meat that I've come to expect. Here's hoping it was a one-off. Minus one star for the moment. -- Previous review: A real proper butcher's. They've got good quality meat and a bunch of expertise - they're very happy to advise you! Their cooked pies etc are great, and their selection of marinaded kebabs etc are hard to resist! Yes, they're often very busy, often with large catering orders - but they're in demand because they're so good. One of my favourite butcher's shops anywhere.
